Corn Dolly enamel pin

Corn Dolly enamel pin

This enamel pin is designed to resemble a traditional Celtic "corn dolly." This practice originates from a time when "corn" meant any grain, and the dolls were often made from the debris of the wheat harvest. This particular corn dolly pin is designed to celebrate Lughnasadh, but can obviously be worn at any time.

This pin is 4 cm high and made with hard enamel and copper-coloured metal.
