Good question! They’re blacksmith made nails, usually at least 100 years old. They have square heads and are usually pretty rusty! While these may have been used for coffins, most you’ll find were used in much more mundane ways. Barn boards, benches, things like that! They’re powerful for protective and baneful magic - they’re cold iron, they’re sharp, they’re dark. Place them in spell jars, into the corners of your property, or turn them into a feature of your altar.
