This image of Lilith is based largely on a Sumerian clay tablet relief from 2000 BC. Adorned in a horned crown that marks her as a Goddess not a demon in Sumerian mythology, Lilith is depicted with power and divinity.
Lilith appears in Sumerian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Canaanite, Persian, Hebrew, Arabic and Teutonic mythology.
This piece is created from the sculpture work of Paul Borda of Dryad Design, and made from polyresin with a wood finish.
