This 24" (61cm) necklace was handmade by Jessica from deerskin lace, features a round pendant of pink jasper and a bar of copper-toned heart beads, rhodochrosite beads, and an amber bead. It is meant to channel the essence of the Norse goddess Freyja via the empowering and heart-healing energy of pink jasper, the intense love represented by the heart beads, and the strength of self-worth provided by the rhodochrosite. The amber bead further calls to the goddess herself as the not only are the Norse gods in general associated with amber, but Freyja's legendary necklace, Brísingamen as well as her tears are both sometimes thought to be made of amber.
