White Sage is a magical and healing evergreen found in the arid Southwestern U.S. and Northwest Mexico. Traditionally used by Native American cultures for food, healing, and ceremonies, the plant’s leaves and seeds can be consumed raw or cooked and ground as a powder, made into a drink, used to make a tonic, and even applied as a hair shampoo, dye, and straightener. Its smoke is even burned as a purifying incense. Used in blessing and energy cleansing, when the leaves and stems are tied tightly together in a wand and left to dry, White Sage is often used for smudging. Light the smudge, let it smolder, and use the smoke to cleanse a space or an object of imbalanced or negative energy. The Sage clan helps to clear the invisible wisps of energy that cling to people and places, creating a blank canvas and an open path for reaching your fullest potential.
Respecting that white sage is a sacred part of the spiritual practices of many of the indigenous peoples of North America, we obtain white sage only occasionally from a First Nations seller and resell it with their permission.
Our white sage is sold in 10 & 25 g packages of whole leaf and stem. 10 g is equivalent to 2-4 Tbsp, and 25 g is equivalent to roughly half a cup. This product has not been packaged in a commercial kitchen and is therefore not fit for consumption. It is sold for spiritual purposes only.
