Astrodice
The Astrodice (also: AstroDice or Astro Dice) are a set of three 12-sided dice using astrological symbols for the purpose of divination. They first appeared in 1975 as a fortune-telling board game with all three dice featuring planetary symbols and a board with signs and houses dipicted on it. In the 1980s, Margit Dahlke altered this into a system using only dice for divination, with one dice featuring planets, luminaries, and nodes, another dice featuring the 12 zodiac signs, and another dice numbered 1-12 to represent the astrological houses. The meaning of the divination is then derived from the combination of planet, sign, and house similarly to how an astrological chart might be read. It does not, however, function as an actual astrology reading, because it does not reflect the timing of any specific event.
Our Astrodice divination sets feature three dice along with a simple guide written & designed by Jessica and an embroidered bag handmade by Penny. The bag features goldenrod-colour stars on a black background and has a goldenrod-colour lining, drawstrings, and embroidered "Astro Dice" label. You can also buy the sets of 3 dice on their own or even just the instruction sheet, which is available as a physical copy or a digital copy to print yourself. When ordering dice or the full set online, your dice colour will be intuitively chosen for you.
